Hello everyone,

My name is Ben Howard. I have recently moved to Brisbane and I am very new to fishing. I did a bit of beach fishing on Kangaroo Island, SA and was quite successful. Now I am literally hooked. Having spent 3 months in Melbourne, without catching a single fish I am now living in Brisbane. I have tried fishing Wynnum pier only catching small fish, also fished afew beaches at Scarborough / Redcliffe with no luck!!

I am just looking for a bit of advice of where is good to catch sizeable fish? And any advice in what set up to be using, as I am very inexperienced at fishing!!!!

Any advice would be muchly appreciated
