Had a good day. It was so hot my son, Brother in law and I waited till nearly 6 to go fishing. Between 6 pm and 8:30 pm I caught 5, 1.5- 2lb bass, my son caught a 2lb and my bnl caught a 2 lb. 7 total. We were using Missile Bait d-bombs and Berkeley gulp worms in Alabama craw color and pumpkin spice color on the worms. Around here those baits are phenomenal.Still waiting on that elusive big one.

I'm a big fan of those gulp softbaits.
I usually use light weight jig heads with 5 inch gulp jerk shads and find that the pumpkin seed color works really well.
That's probably very similar to your pumpkin spice. They are brownish with black speckles.
The other color that works really well for me is called lime tiger and it even glows in the dark

And the best thing about them is that I don't have to mess around with cutting up bait on my kayak.
