Sounds great, how do inflatable pontoons hold up against rocks etc.? i am considering fueless crafts to fish and explore with here in the Ozarks. Lived in Sacto. many years ago, loved the area, just hated the developers pouring cement everywhere . I rarely visit CA. but still have friends in Sacto, maybe we can hook up,(oops no pun intended!)and do some Fishing. Oh what do you use to fish with? I used to use a clear float with a live worm or lure 2-3ft. off, and let it drift with good success in moving water. I guess Fly Fishing would be a good way at times,and you can use a clear float with a fly as well, an article thru this site describes this method. Well have Fun , and Take it easy, AJ

I have never had a problem with rocks, I drag mine in and out of the water over rocks all the time. I use 4lbs Mono and power bait sitting or slow drift and troll and needed depths with what is working for everyone else on the water at the time, yep I that goy I watch or ask and copy lol. Im not able to flyfish due to lack of patients and diablity, I envy those that can, I watched a guy flyfishing on the coast in the wind in tide pools, he was good!
