Major and minor times? | Category: Fishing Talk

Hi all

Was wondering if someone could explain to me the major and minor times theory? Im confused with the fact that a day might have 3 stars and the high tide and rising moon all coincide around dusk but the najor time to fish is right in the middle of the day? How does this work? Any advice would be great.
