Hey everyone, I stumbled on this site and it looks pretty cool.

I'm Jim, originally from New Jersey, grew up fishing in small lakes in NJ and PA, mostly panfish, bass, pickerel etc. I now live in Nebraska and do a lot of Bass fishing. I am currently spending the next month in Biloxi for some military training and was looking for some good pointers on fishing the bay, the ocean and the pascagoula river where it gets a little brackish. My buddy and I have been using live shrimp, casting out around the bridge pylons and right off the peer. So far not much luck. Was wondering if there are any surefire lures to use out here. We have tried several times during the day, morning and late afternoon. Any tips would be greatly appreciated and anything caught I will definitely post pics of. Also, if anyone knows any lakes in the nearby area that are good this time of year. Thanks in advance,

Jim

Hope someone can give you some advice for this area.

Cheers

I have a GrandUncle who use to use homemade lures from Tooth brushes, he would catch Tasty Speckle Ocean Trout, i also read an article of a Fisherman that used to fish the Gulf at night was a good time . Do some searches on Gulf Fishing in that area and contact a local Fishing group in Biloxi, MS. you will find some good info, Keep your Lines Tight , and Ammunition dry,
