What kind of fish is this? Piranha like teeth. Thought it. was a Menhaden but has no spots.

It looks like a small tailor to me.

It was caught in brackish water about 5 miles inland from gulf of Mexico. Where Texas and Louisiana meet.

Yep. It is not un-common to find tailor as far inland as brackish water. I don't think I have ever heard of them or seen them in fresh water, but certainly in brackish water.

I think they call them Blue Fish over there.

Yeah, that sounds right...I mean they call prickly pear tuna which why they call tuna, tuna fish 😊

Bluefish on the GA Coast as well. My friends and I call them machine gunners, cause they hit several times fast, and steal your bait. .
