Me and a couple of mates had a uncomfortable but great days fishing in the Keep River this past Saturday .
I have caught quite a lot of meter+ Barra in the 11 years based in Kununurra WA, but it's been awhile since I've visited the meter club, so the 1120mm Barra I caught this Saturday was a welcomed addition. My mate Mick also landed a 1010mm Barra.
The conditions were extremely Hot and humid in the high 40 mark.
We ended up bagging 4 Barra in the High 600mm range, but we all lost (cut off on rocks) big Barra estimated to be in the Meter club range which is unusual in one session.
It is unusual to have access to the Keep River this time of year, the lack of rain has allowed this. After Just beening notified this coming Wednesday is a 3 stars day, so may make the effort to get out there and and make the most of it.

Thanks for the post. Sounds good for this time of year. I didn't realise you have not had much rain this year.

My biggest ever barra was exactly 1000mm. Some where I have video of me landing it and then letting it go.
