Just spent 9 days in Darwin staying at a mates place. Barra up to 75cm on tap on the barrage at Shady Camp

That's not bad !!

I was in Darwin for 2 years with the Army. Fished at Shady Camp a few times.

The camp itself is shady, fishing the Barage is definitely not!
Mind u I wouldn't be pitching a tent so close to the highest concentration of crocs in Darwin

Yeah, I was a happy chappy. 3.5hrs with single hook softies off the Barage = 7 barra caught of which we took 2 home for bbq and beers...mmm!
