Hi everybody,

I just uploaded a new video about some of the best fishing spots in Christchurch, New Zealand.
If you're from Christchurch or travel to this area, check out these spots.
Christchurch offers some of the best Salmon fishing in NZ, a whole range interesting saltwater species can be caught and also good trout fishing.

thanks mate.

Nah not yet mastered, had to cut out quite a bit of shaky stuff
But getting a little better with it.

Although haven't used it so much for fishing lately... since I got the kayak.
I guess once we're in more kayak unfriendly territory it will come out more again.

This Shimano OC 12000 reel was a bad choice for drone fishing.
It just can't handle it. First the balancing weights came loose as you know and now both clickers for the baitrunner mode and main drag don't really work anymore.
Which is pretty annoying as I've been using it for live baiting from the kayak and I can't really hear when a fish takes off with the bait in bait runner mode. Anyway - I don't trust this reel anymore for drone fishing.

If I can save up a bit, I might get the penn senator 115L2 9/0 for the drone fishing instead.
And maybe a shimano tld 15 for live baiting from the yak

Realized he could make a video with his drone instead of putting the hooks on it.

It looks OK...You always have to edit.

I am not going to say I told you so...Nay bugger that I will say it...I TOLD YOU SO !!

Don't take Alvey of the list. I think an 8 inch Alvey would work just fine. But then again you will want to be taking it off the rod quite often. So an overhead might be better...

I am sure I have got a TLD15 here. I will have a look but I am 95% sure I have one...Anyway, I think a TLD15 will be just a little bit to small for the drone but perfect for live baiting off the kayak. A TLD 20 or 25 would work with the drone.

The Penn...Now you are talking . The 115L2 is probably a lot bigger than you need...But you will be taking a few hundred meters of line out with the drone just to place the bait, so bigger is better. You might be able to get a second reel about that size to try before spending the big bucks on a new one.
