I did a bit of fishing in and around Seoul last year.
Some decent bass and carp fishing opportunities in the Han River and further afield.

It's a little difficult to find good fishing infos and advise if you don't speak Korean.
There is a decent fishing shop in Jamsil and they can speak a little English and can probably help you getting the right gear.

The easiest way to get started would be to get some spin fishing gear and a few lures and try to catch bass at some of the fishing spots in my videos. You need a bit of patience. The fishing in Seoul is not that easy. You can also head to one of the fishing spots - especially the one in Jamsil and watch the locals fishing. You might even be able to find someone who can speak a little English at those spots.

LOL, yeah that was quite fast.
My wife is originally from Korea so we visit Seoul and the family every other year or so.
Last year I decided to explore some of the fishing opportunities and was actually quite surprised that there is some decent fishing right in the middle of such a massive city.
