Marlborough - try Rarangi Beach

Westport - the Beaches between Westport and Granity are quite good on an incoming tide. Better closer to Westport as it gets a bit rocky further towards Granity.

Greymouth is not so easy to fish. There is always a very strong northerly current. So you need really heavy sand sinkers and also have calm days and small tides. The Beach south of Greymouth could be an option if weather and swell permits.

Best baits down there would be shrimps, paddle crabs and maybe squid.
