Murrumbidgee River

Is anyone having any luck on the Murrumbidgee?

For almost a week...maybe 4 or 5 days...I have been fishing the river east of Wagga Wagga. But got nothing. Not even a bite. I haven't even lost a bait...I mean nothing. Not even a yabbie stealing my bait.

Last time I fished the Bidgee I got one carp and one turtle (the turtle was released safe and sound... The carp not so!!). But this time, not even a nibble.

I have tried worms and live shrimp. Tried bottom and a float.

sounds like it's time to move spots, haha :)

I will be here for another week. But then thinking of heading down stream to Narrandera (200km west of here).

If your still around mate, the fishing in albury (bout 1hr 20 m from wagga) , has been excellent the last couple of weeks.

The river is low , but there is some good spots off the bank

Thanks. Yes I am still around.

I am sort of a "local" (own a house in Lockhart)...I am camped up near Cootamundra ATM. Kinda stuck here with the fuel prices.

I was camping at Sandy Beach when I made the post. Then moved on to Bethungra. Nothing at Bethungra Dam....No fishable waters near Coota !! But the creek in Coota itself looks like it might have some yabbies.

I ended up landing a carp at Sandy Beach. But that was it.
