Just a quick share:
I am what you would call a casual Fisherman, because we have a small Farmstead that keeps us busy . Went Fishing on a local creek,(Jimmy Creek area, off Bull Shoals lake North Arkansas), after the large Rains started about 3+ weeks ago, climbed down a steep enough embankment next to our county Road. Used a ,"trout magnet",pitched it out 1st cast and Wham! Caught a very nice Bass ,had a 4lb line with spinning outfit. Now the Guy above me on the Bridge was using salt impregnated soft baits,(crawdad and Tubes) from Bass Pro ,was Catching many more to my one, this is why am sharing with Y'all. So have Fun and keep your lines Tight, AJ

Hi everyone,Just joined this site.I was down in n.w. ark. visiting my kids and grandkids and had a hell of a great fishing time just down river from the beaver lake dam.7 of us caught 29 nice rainbows.I've never caught rainbows like that before. We used berkley power baits. The stuff you have to roll into a small ball and put on a # 8 hook.It was a riot.

Glad you and GrandChildren had a chance to experience some good Fishing here in the Ozarks Region ,and have fond memories built up with Family. If you get the time, come over to the White River and Bull Shoals State Park, they have some RVs already set up right on the White River for reasonable cost per night and there is a dock with a Fishing jetty ,Banks areas with Boats,Canoes, or Kayak rental and pick up transportation available. Also a very nice Visitor center with activities and Park Hiking Trails.Folks from around the world complement this Park highly, so it is well worth a visit. Best Wishes, Aj
