Looks like the squid are pretty thick...Take a big-ish rod with a big-ish overhead with a big-ish hook...Rip the squid head off and put it on the big-ish setup and see what happens :)

PS...You might not want to try using a whole fresh squid head for bait on a kayak...just saying...but the video should be good haha :)

haha yeah, I was gonna use the heads today off my kayak but started out with soft baits and got a few snapper on the first few casts. So I just chucked the heads overboard as I didn't want to freeze them. Probably gonna regret that on my next rock fishing mission. Just had the tentacles and hoods for dinner. Bloody delicious with some rock crabs for starters.
