Hi
I am new to this site, and as you may guess from the gist of the following, a pensioner, but active and willing to have a go, and intend to do so.
My wife passed away recently, which left a big whole in my life. I am now trying to fill that whole with fishing. I have done some boat fishing in earlier years, but will now have to learn how to fish from the beach.
I am looking for some quiet spots where I can get to grips with this new art.

As I live in Gosnells, WA I will have to travel, so the nearer the better.

I have two options as I see it. So would appreciate any advice that your readers can give me as to locations please? I am not fussy what fish I catch so anywhere they are I would like to be. I have a fancy for beach fishing, estuary, and finally river, freshwater fishing.

!. I can make a day trip.

2. I can camp overnight.
